About Me
I started my college career at the University of Idaho in Moscow, ID studying criminology. After graduation I applied to an officer position in the U.S. Navy.
After being accepted and going through Officer Candidate School, I was stationed onboard USS San Diego as the Damage Control Officer (DCO) for 2 years.
For my next rotation, I chose USS Gabrielle Gifford as the Main Propulsion Assistant (MPA).
After completing my time in the Navy in 2018, I continued
my education at University of Colorado Boulder in the Astrophysical and Planetary Sciences department. I will be going into my junior year of an Astrophysics major
September 2021.
During the summer of 2021, I worked on the Scintillating Bubble Chamber with my advisors Professor C. Eric Dahl and Dr. Rocco Coppejans. My focus that summer
was on simulations using the Monte-Carlo N-particle transport code (MCNP) to help with the calibration of the SBC.
