About

I am a senior (graduating December 2018) at Northwestern University, majoring in Physics & Astronomy. In my spare time (that is, when I'm not doing problem sets or working on my research), I serve as president of the Northwestern chapter of the Society of Physics Students, host public (and private) observing sessions at Dearborn Observatory, tutor extensively, and teach a supplemental section to our introductory physics sequence, all while continuing my outreach efforts on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota.

Despite my (zealous) commitment to physics, astronomy, and academia, I did spend a couple of years in Los Angeles, learning from the best of the best in the music industry. While music supervision didn't remain the fit it had seemed when I entered USC's Thornton School of Music after my junior year of high school, music itself is still an incredible passion of mine, and I'm always happy to find out about new artists (or soundtracks!) to enjoy (my favorite albums of the moment - not that these have changed much over the years - are Ra Ra Riot's The Rhumb Line and, perhaps unsurprisingly, Nada Surf's The Stars Are Indifferent to Astronomy).
