I am an undergraduate at Northwestern University. My primary major is Physics and Astronomy through Northwestern's Department of Physics and Astronomy. My other major is Integrated Science, which is a part of Northwestern's Integrated Science Program (ISP). I have spent about 3 months working with the Center for Interdisciplinary Research and Exploration in Astrophysics (CIERA), under Dr. Adam Miller and Professor Rafaella Margutti advising, researching the optimal strategies for LSST to detect Kilonovae. Apart from college research, I have also worked on particle physics research through Wayne State University's QuarkNet Program, a high school research program dedicated to the research of muons and their intrisic properties including their origin, liftime expectancy, and abundance in our atmosphere.
