I am an undergraduate, honors student in Physics at Portland State University (PSU), Class of 2018. I am currently researching some of the smallest and largest phenomena in the universe. I study nanotechnology/synthesis at PSU and astrophysics, particularly supernovae explosions, at Northwestern University. I am currently a part of a diversity and science outreach program, BUILD EXITO, at PSU. I am a member of Tau Sigma Honors Society, a student in the Urban Honors College, a Peer Mentour, and am Dean's Listed. I also served as a Multicultural Ambassador, Associated Student Government Senator, Math/Science Tutor, STEM Club Officer, and French Club President at Clackamas Community College during my time as a student there. I plan to attend graduate school in Fall 2018 to earn my PhD in Astrophysics or Physics with an emphasis in Astronomy.
